A new support group for amputee patients and their caregivers is coming to the Petersburg area. Sponsored by HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Petersburg, the support group will help those who have endured limb loss engage in conversation and share helpful information with others in similar situations. The group will meet on March 1, June 7, Sept. 6 and Dec. 6. All meetings will be held at the hospital located at 95 Medical Park Blvd. in Petersburg at 5:30 p.m.

  • Creating a network of others with whom the patient can comfortably share successes and concerns
  • Sharing treatments ideas and resources
