invite you to join them in
at the 8th Annual Festival of Grapes and Hops
Sept. 30 from 1 – 3 p.m.
at HealthSouth Petersburg’s booth
The festival will take place in the Petersburg Old Towne Historic District at the Historic Farmer’s Market located at 9 E Old Street.
Attendees will learn how to spot the signs of a stroke fast, help raise awareness for stroke and have a photo taken with the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders. George Preston Marshall, owner and president of the National Football League’s Washington Redskins from 1932 – 1969, suffered a debilitating stroke in 1963 after being named to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. A stroke can happen to anyone at any time. Knowing how to recognize and help someone who is experiencing a stroke can greatly improve their chances of living and decrease long-term effects. The American Heart Association works to fight stroke by funding research, fighting for stronger public health policies and providing critical tools and information to help save and improve lives right here in Petersburg.
